Organiser's Comments:

Thanks to all who turned up.

The weather on the day gradually improved & most seemed to really enjoy the challenge judging by the lively discussions when everyone had finished. The level of enjoyment and a competitive edge led to quite a number attempting almost all the controls (at least 12.5km) and taking the full allowed time with a subsequent rush of finishers at 12:30.

Many appreciated urban O without the usual time pressure and a chance to properly look at the scenery.... from a planners perspective it was nice to do an urban event with nothing to put out or collect in and no worry about vandalism of control sites!
