| Following a leisurely stroll through Hay Wood earlier in the afternoon accompanied by Anne Wade as Sherpa, things got a bit fraught later on. Having returned to Coventry for food and load car with download equipment, I then managed to lock car-key inside the car I had borrowed for the day. Frantic phone call to owner, Irene Rogers, who arrived in the nick of time to unlock the car - hence my arrival at Hay Wood at 7pm to find a queue of cars patiently waiting to be let into the picnic area. Dave Marr looked after registration, whilst I set up the Start and Finish controls. Dave also assisted collecting in controls along with Dave Thacker and John Embrey.
