Organiser's comments
A cool and damp Saturday morning didn't put off nearly 70 of you turning out for the last Saturday
event of the season. Sadly it also didn't deter the mindless individual who decided to liberate six
punches from their controls, whilst leaving the controls in place! It was my first experience of this
particular variation on the vandalism theme, and I wasn't impressed. I'd suggest we don't use EMIT
controls at this particular venue. Apologies to anyone whose enjoyment was spoiled, and many
thanks to those of you who just got on with it regardless!
Finally, thank you to all the organisers and orienteers who turned up on Saturdays throughout the
season and who made the job of coordinating a simple one.
