ORIENTEERING UP AND RUNNING

Octavian Droobers Orienteering Club are launching a series of summer events, including three free introductory sessions, at locations around Coventry, Warwickshire and surrounding areas.

The first will be held on Saturday afternoon 9th July at Coventry’s War Memorial Park. This is a free introduction to the fun outdoor adventure sport for all ages 5 – 85 years. The short trail 1.9km will be popular with families and the longer 4.5km trail will appeal to runners. Instruction will be given by local club members.

Later in July orienteers will be welcomed at Hartshill Hayes Country Park, near Nuneaton followed by events throughout the summer at Hinckley, Coombe Abbey Park, Rough Close Scout Camp, Warwick University Campus, St. Nicholas Park in Warwick and Burton Dassett Hills.
