WORLD SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2013

Congratulations to the nine club juniors who performed well at the British School Championships selection races and will now represent British Schools in the 2013 World Schools Championships which takes place in Portugal in April.

From King Henry VIII School, Coventry, Rachel Johnson (captain), Aimee Morse, Rajani Murthy, Rhiannon Cope and Zoe Nicolson will travel to the event to represent Britain in the Senior Girls School Team category. Harrison McCartney also from King Henry VIII School will represent Britain in the Junior Boys Select Team.

Three pupils from Kenilworth School and Sports College have earned places in the Select Teams: Heather Rogers, Junior Girls Team, Julie Emmerson, Senior Girls and Hamish Rogers, Senior Boys.

The club wishes all nine the very best and will be encouraging them all to train and perform to the best of their ability. In addition two Octavian Droober members will be assisting and organising at the event Mel Elkington, Deputy Head of Delegation and Sophie Kirk, Junior Girls Select Team Coach.
