Daventry Country Park Saturday 11 January 2020 10 – 12 noon Outdoor fun adventure navigation sport for all ages, 5 – 85 years. The sport, combines cross country trail running (or walking) and navigating from point to point - a bit like a treasure hunt around Daventry Country Park and surrounding areas. There is a choice of 4 courses* ranging from 2km – 6km, to suit beginners, especially families, and experienced orienteers. No need to book, just turn up to the start location at the underpass, close to the ICON centre, NN11 0QB, just south of the country park. Nearest car park Lodge Road NN11 4FP. Instruction given to beginners on how to use map, electronic timer and compass. Bring a compass if you have one. Cost: Juniors £1, Adults £5, Timer hire £1.
