Details:

The Octavian Droobers Wednesday evening events offer courses suitable for everyone from the absolute beginner to the experienced orienteer.

Start times are from 6.30 to 7.30. Just turn up on the night.

Cost: Seniors: £2.50 (£2.00 if you have your own EMIT card); Juniors: £1.00.

Wednesday 1st July

Coombe Park, Coventry. Map Ref SP404790 on sheet 140.

Parking at the main car park. Entrance off the B4027 Coventry to Brinklow road.

Wednesday 8th July

Sutton Park Gates Run. Map Ref SP115963 on sheet 139. Parking inside Town Gate just beyond the playground. Starting near Town Gate you have to visit the other six gates in the Park and return to Town Gate. Distance is about eight miles. Choose your own route. A mixture of park road and footpath running.

Wedgnock Rifle Range, Warwick. Map Ref SP272673 on 151.

From the A46 junction with theA425 head towards Warwick town centre. At the first roundabout turn left along Woodloes Avenue. After half a mile turn left along a narrow farm road, signed to Adventure Sports. Turn right after half a mile.

Stratford Street Event and Barbeque. Map Ref SP203545.

For the street event, entrance to the Pay & Display car park is at the south end of Clopton Bridge. Opposite side of the River Avon to the Royal Shakespeare theatre.

BARBEQUE after the street event at 181 Loxley Road, Stratford.

All welcome - bring something to cook, a salad, and something to drink.

Tudor Grange Park, Solihull. Map Ref SP145794 on sheet 139.

From Solihull town centre take the B4102 west (Blossomfield Road). The Leisure Centre is on the left immediately after you pass under the railway bridge.
