The 43rd Jock Campbell ‘Round the Park Run’

This event has been held annually since 1967 and is completed by runners, orienteers, joggers and walkers of all ages and levels of fitness.

 

Starting at the Park’s Town Gate you have to visit each of the other six gates in the Park and return to Town Gate. The distance is about 8 miles and involves a mixture of Park road and footpath running.

 

It is not a head-to-head race, so you can start at any time between 5.30 and 7.30, but you will be timed. All finishers receive a certificate showing their time.

 

Sutton Park is on the north east side of Birmingham, readily accessible from junctions 5 and 6 of the M6. Town Gate is located on the east side of the Park, just to the west of Sutton town centre at the end of Park Road.

 

Parking is available at Town Gate just beyond the children’s playground.

Please park sensibly and do not obstruct the traffic

Registration at the OD club tent will be open from 5.00 pm.

Start times are from 5.30 to 7.30.

 

Entry on the day only.
