Bentley Wood is situated 3 miles south west of Atherstone, 12 miles north of Coventry. Easiest approach to the car park is via the A5. From the roundabout at the western end of the Atherstone bypass take the B4116 heading south west, signposted towards Baxterley and Coleshill. After two miles turn left, left, and left again towards Atherstone. The car park entrance is then 400 yards on the left.

In the grounds of Merevale Hall. Map reference SP 291966 on sheet 140. 

An undulating area of forest consisting of coniferous plantations and areas of fine mature oak woodland.

Dogs allowed in the car park only, but must be kept on a lead at all times.

You have the choice of how you enter.

·     Enter by Age Group - M/W A and B classes;

          M/W 18, 20, 21, 35, ........, 60;  M65, M70 Long and Short classes;

          M75, M80;  W65, W70, W75, W80 classes.

·     Or enter by the Colour course you want to run:

White, Yellow, Orange, Light Green, Short Green,Green, Blue, Short Blue, Brown, Short Brown or Black. 

EMIT punching. EMIT card hire: £1.00.

Senior National British Orienteering and Local West Midlands Members - £7.00;

Senior Local Members of other Regions and all non-BOF members - £9.00;

Senior entries on White, Yellow and Orange courses, and all Juniors - £3.00.
